Full charge ahead with Europcar

With Europcar, you can drive away in an EV with a full battery and bring it back empty. Your range depends on which kind of electric vehicle you’re driving, where you’re driving it and in which mode. For example, in eco mode, your range might be 350 km in the city and 280 km on the highway.
We provide public and domestic charging cables and a free charging card usable at 450,000 locations in Europe. Charging options include domestic chargers, public charging poles, and fast chargers.
Using a domestic charger gives you about 100 km of range in seven hours, while that’s two hours at public charging stations, and just 15 minutes with fast chargers. For home charging, we recommend the 10A setting unless you have an EV-specific socket like a Green Up, which can handle the 16A load. Avoid running other high-power devices on the same circuit to prevent tripping a fuse.
Charging is quite straightforward. Open the flap on your EV, remove the socket cover, and plug in. At home, connect to the wall first, then the vehicle. At highway stations, the cable is attached to the pole. Swipe your free card to start and stop charging. The cable locks while charging for added security.
Drive greener with Europcar and enjoy the convenience of an extensive charging infrastructure across Europe.
